Trina D. Williams has represented an array of individuals and corporations in civil, criminal and transactional matters over the last ten years. Her practice at Rogaski, Preovolos, Weber & Patterson, LLP, focuses on medical malpractice defense, healthcare law and licensing matters, defense of employers in litigation, some criminal matters, estate planning, product liability defense (with an emphasis on medical devices), and general liability defense. She is a recent Napa transplant and is busy immersing herself in local social and business networking events, bar functions, volunteer opportunities and other community-based activities.

Prior to joining the firm, she was a San Francisco Civil Litigator for four years at Bassi, Edlin, Huie & Blum, LLP, and gained experience in a broad array of civil litigation matters. Her practice primarily focused on defending corporations and individuals in lawsuits in the following areas: toxic torts, products liability, employment law, environmental law, commercial/corporate law, insurance law and general liability.

Before returning to her native California, Trina was an associate at McIntyre & Barns, a boutique healthcare law firm in Seattle, Washington, for approximately three years. She exclusively represented hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care providers in an array of litigation and licensing matters. She gained trial experience defending care providers in complex medical cases. She also volunteered at and was the co-president of Overlake Hospital Cancer Center Auxiliary in Bellevue, Washington. In addition, Trina enjoyed conducting seminars about various legal topics for nurses and other healthcare providers at several Seattle-area hospitals such as Swedish Hospital, Evergreen Hospital and Overlake Hospital. She also volunteered her time at King County’s free neighborhood legal clinics.

During her last two years of law school and first few years of practice, Trina focused on a criminal defense practice and gained valuable trial and courtroom experience. She was associated with criminal defense attorney Walter J. Todd in Salem, Oregon, and continued to practice with his office until she relocated to Seattle in 2003. She successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials as a criminal defense attorney. Trina represented both private and indigent clients and was involved in several high-profile cases. She also gained experience in family law, estate planning and personal injury matters and served as a Mentor and Moot Court Judge for law students at her alma mater, Willamette University.
